Word of the week

This week week for word of the week I had to do the word initiative, we had to note down the synonyms and antonyms of the word, put down the definition in our own words and then the real definition we also had to add a picture to put a extra touch. The hardest part of this text to  me was making a good picture. I hope you enjoy this post!

Understanding kinetic and potential energy

Today we are understanding the differences and similarities of potential and kinetic energy. My first task was to watch a video explaining the two different types of energy, Then I went into this google  drawing and answered the the question best I could. This was a fun task especially the part when I was watching the the video, it was also quite easy because all of the answers could be found in the questions. I Hope you enjoy this post!

All about me

Today we had to create a google drawing explaining what we ourselves to put on our blog. This was an enjoyable task but the hardest is part was putting down what I like since I like a lot of things. Next time I would probably put a bit more on what I'm not good at. I hope you this post!

understanding pi

Today for maths I have researching about pi, and create this google drawing, to clarify our information we had to checked at least 3 three different websites and they had to say the same thing we were writing down. This, to me was a very enjoyable task but the hardest part was getting enough information in the time we had, next time I think I would try and get at least on more paragraph down.  I hope you enjoy this task!

Global warming/ energy reading

This term we are focusing on energy. In this task I had to pick a word which was global warming and put down its definition in my own words as well as some facts and and a picture. This was one of the funnest tasks for energy reading so far, but for me the hardest part was deciding which word to chose but that was okay and the end because I know quite a lot about global warming. I hope you enjoy this post!

why shouldn't animals be in zoos?

In my opinion I don't think animals should be kept in zoos, and by the end of this text I hope you will agree with me . First of all , why I don't think animals should be in zoos is because, animals are meant to be wild and free, like humans that brings me to a question we wouldn't lock humans in a cage, why animals?  I understand when a animal is sick or hurt that a zoo would want to keep a close eye on them, but what I don't understand  is why there not just one or two pairs of eyes staring at the animal but possibly several hundred.

Also instead of giving them a nice open place to recover in but a stuffy cage purely for human attention? I have once been to a zoo and was shocked to find that they load people onto a caged truck for feeding the lions, the poor creatures would have to wait until the truck had done a full circuit until being fed, one lion got so hungry that it jumped onto the truck only to be partly blinded by flashing cameras this as I see it is human cruelty.  I hope by now you will agree with me that the horrible age of zoos needs to end.

exploring circles

Today we are learning about the measuring, and exploring the radius, diameter and circumference of circles.  We went around the classroom measuring the circumferences with string and the radius and Diameter with a ruler. To complete this task we had to measure at least five different  circles from around the classroom. This was a mostly  enjoyable task but to me the hardest part  was putting the string around the different circles with the amount of time we had. I hope you enjoy this post!
